This circular three-dimensional original artwork is inspired not only by Kristjana’s personal memories and love of the oceans surrounding our continents, but in recognition of the almighty power of water and the magical essence of nature itself.
Our oceans harness the purist energy, embodying the power the planet holds over our mind and wellbeing. By immersing yourself in nature, be it walking through dense woodland or submerging yourself in water, the human spirit benefits from the hypnotic, meditative power of the planet. In the Circular Silvery Saer - Blacktip Shark Original, Kristjana immerses you in the world of the Pacific and Atlantic oceans; to their provoking shorelines, their forceful currents and their unfathomable depths. A place where glacial meltwater melds with the dark salty ocean and breathes life into the abyss below. The predatory blacktip shark commands the shallows of this subterranean utopia, keeping on a watchful eye on tiny unsuspecting ray finned fish and nonchalant cephalopods. A giant shoal of fish creates a mirage in its wake, dicing with venomous sea snakes who command the waters behind tangles of aqua flora in this subterranean jungle; a fragile world that humankind must do all that it can to protect.
