Mary Magdalene stands at the empty tomb, bereft. Her dear friend and teacher, Jesus, has been killed, and she thinks they have even taken away the body. Little does she know that he is with her, always, and that soon she will know joy.

We thought this was a good image for all of us in those times when we are downcast. We thought it could also be a good one to send to a friend when they are in a difficult period. Also available here on Etsy as a postcard:

Harold Copping (1863-1932) did a lot of Christian-themed art in the 19th and early 20th Century , and we think this is one of his best pieces.
